The Resident Symphony Orchestra of the City of Anaheim

February, 2016

To Friends and Supporters,

During the recent holiday season we have lost a critical number of our loyal financial supporters who have made their transition. These community leaders served a lifetime of pioneering advocacy for the arts. Their passing leaves a huge void in financial support for OCS as well as other local cultural organizations.

Sponsorship for the 4 remaining concerts in the OCS 2015-2016 season is impacted to the extent that the February 28, 2016 scheduled concert must be postponed to a later date. We are currently working to address replacing funding costs for subsequent concert dates.

Please stay in touch by checking the website for updated information on venues, dates and programming. Subscribers and supporters will also be notified via e-mail and letters.

Since 2005 the Orange County Symphony has provided a scheduled concert season and in order to do so has relied in financial support in addition to income from concert box office and subscription revenues. While many of our musicians donate their valuable time, energy and talent, costs for venues, operating and more continue to increase with each passing year.

At this time we must ask your help with any assistance you are able to provide.  Your donation is critically needed to help make possible the gift of music magic available to all.

Thank you sincerely for your steadfast support.,

Rich Blessings
