The Orange County Symphony and its Board of Directors is pleased to present our special guest musicians the Golden West Pops to the stage for an evening of fun and exciting music.  The program “From Stage to Screen” features music from composers like John Williams, Henry Mancini, James Horner and Gilbert and Sullivan.  Contemporary artists like Ray Charles, The Eagles and Stevie Wonder help to round out the evenings music.   

The Golden West Pops is a local community concert band serving the Orange County Area and beyond. Bringing musicians together from all over the county the “Pops” is honored to be part of the OCS 2016-2017 concert season.  The “Pops” is led by Pollyanna Gorman, an established wind band conductor and musician, who currently serves as Conductor, Executive Director and Musical Director of the group as well as conductor of the Orange County Symphonic Pops, the Winds Coach/principal French Horn and Associate Conductor of the Southern California Philharmonic and the Associate Conductor and principal French Horn of the Orange County Concert Band.
