The Resident Symphony Orchestra of the City of Anaheim

Message to all

November, 2014

Message to subscribers, friends and supporters,

The Celebrations begins at 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 14th with the forth concert in the 2014-2015 annual subscription season as we present a silent auction in the theater lobby and a production of La boheme in concert with the full cast of the acclaimed Pacific Opera Project (POP). The Los Angeles/Highland Park production is sold out making this one night collaboration the only remaining opportunity this season to experience the beloved opera in it's entirety. The concert will run a bit later than usual due to the full performance time.

The 2014 finale will be enhanced by musicians performing in the lobby before the concert while guests check out the auction tables to find that perfect dining, entertainment or last minute gift for bidding excitement. Unique items are arriving every day that will be offered on concert evening.

The beautiful music quilt will again be on display in the lobby just waiting for the lucky winner to declare ownership of this beautiful heirloom piece of art work. Quilt designer/creator, Reon Boydstun will draw the winning ticket.

Our Outreach programs continue to thrive as well as the OCS/ACSD Orchestra Program with 18 Anaheim elementary schools now convening 109 after school instrument classes each week including the new district wide Honors Orchestra under the direction of our own Michael Cleary.

It is only with your help that we are able to bring these gifts of music and music education to our community. You are a critical part of a very special team. Thank you for all you do.

Together we make it happen!

Rich Blessings to you and yours in this holiday season,

Dorothy Rose, Program Director
